Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions stated below concern the contract for Childcare Services between “Milton Keynes College Little Explorers Nursery” and the Parent/Carer.
All fees are charged monthly in advance and must be paid within seven days of receipt of the statement. Failure to pay fees within 4 weeks of receipt of a statement may result in the loss of your child’s place and the debt will be passed to a Debt Collection agency (this may affect your credit rating). Persistent or continuous non-payment of fees will result in the loss of your child’s place.
The Nursery closes for one week between Christmas and New Year and on all other Bank Holidays. Fees are payable during period of absence from the Nursery, including, but not limited to, sickness and holidays. The nursery may also close for training days; notice will be given in advance for these days and no fees will be required on these days.
Late pickup, in excess of fifteen (15) minutes during the day, will incur the full charge for the following session. Late pickup after 6:00pm will incur a £10 charge for the first thirty (30) minutes, or part thereof. After thirty (30) minutes, a further £40 charge will be incurred. The Nursery is open 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Children cannot be accepted outside of these hours.
One month’s written notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from the nursery and fees must be paid during the notice period even if your child does not attend the Nursery.
Milton Keynes College Little Explorers Nursery does not accept responsibility for accidental injury, loss of, or damage to property. The Nursery maintains those insurances required by law and copies of current Employer’s Liability and Public Liability Insurance certificates are displayed in the Nursery.
The Nursery will not tolerate under any circumstances, behavior towards nursery staff which is deemed threatening, abusive or violent. Any such behavior may result in termination of the nursery place or a refusal to allow a person back on the premises in the future.
Parents/carers should be aware that the Nursery has to be vacated by the designated closing time in line with our Ofsted registration conditions.
If your child becomes ill whilst in our care and is deemed not well enough to be in nursery, you may be requested to arrange to collect your child. We consider children unwell when they cannot take part in normal nursery activities.
